A new roundabout for The Promenade19 Sep 2019
As part of our $63million expansion, we are pleased to let you know that we are also investing in an upgrade of local road infrastructure.
Work on a new roundabout on The Promenade will commence shortly to make access in and out of Ellenbrook Central easier and safer for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. While this is a positive step in improving Centre access, the construction of the roundabout will cause some unavoidable disruptions for people who regularly use this road and the Ellenbrook Central car park adjacent to The Promenade.
In particular, the car park entrance located to the east of McDonalds will be temporarily closed for approximately 2 weeks.
Our builders, Doric, have implemented a full traffic management plan and we urge people who regularly use The Promenade and Ellenbrook Central’s northern car parks to plan their journey and factor in these works. Some suggested access routes are indicated in the map below:
The good news is that the construction of the roundabout is relatively quick, and we expect that it will be completed well before Christmas 2019.
Thanks for your patience during these works. For more information on our redevelopment please click here.
